A little about me!
Moving between the warm winds of Northern California, the broad expanse of rural Petersburg Il. and many places in between, has been a journey that has added many textures to singer songwriter Greg Norton. A country boy at heart, growing up on a ranch and now residing in a town of 2500 people, the honesty and integrity of his birthright flows freely within him.
No musician arrives on the scene as a fully formed artist. It takes years of dedication and hard work to arrive at a place where you can express yourself with the maturity that an acquired knowledge permits. For Greg, that knowledge is founded on a long history in the industry. Notably working for Country cover band DarkHorse and opening for many Country artists, he is now releasing music that speaks to his life and the world around him.
Beginning in 2021, the fruits of his labor began to see the light of day in an incredible multi-layered blend of Country, Blues and Rock. Cascading guitars, a deep resonant voice balanced by strong and emotional lyrics, Greg sings his world into being against a back drop of constantly shifting experiences.
Continuing his rich vein of form in 2023 with the majestic Echoes, the world is his oyster as his catalogue of work continues to grow. Evocative, inspirational and with an undeniable attitude that is epic as well as heartfelt, Greg Norton is shining like a supernova in a world of darkness.
